Before entering the real estate profession Richard had a 25 year Corporate Executive and Ownership background. His extensive business experience is the perfect background for succeeding in real estate. He is very organized and detailed, an excellent problem solver, and seasoned contract negotiator. All of these attributes are a must in the maze of today's real estate transaction.
Richard is involved daily with many aspects of the real estate market, working with both buyers and sellers. His specialties include all types of residential sales, new home communities, and vacant land sales. He is a consistent $Multimillion Dollar Producer, with his efforts in 2011 placing him amid the Top 10 percent of very accomplished agents within our downtown Asheville headquarters. Richard continues to receive monthly Sales Leader awards, and was the Residential Top Producer for two months running in 2011. The Mortgage Services Referral Leader award was also presented to him.
Richard is proud to be a devoted family man, married to his wife Carol for 36 years. They have two grown children, four amazing grandchildren, with a fifth due in 2012. During his leisure time you will find he and Carol touring our scenic back roads in their convertible, hiking and exploring year-round, taking trips to their coastal get-a-way, spending time with family, and counting their blessings.
