 Nancy first earned her real estate license in 1985. She later took off a few years to earn her BA from UNCA, and even managed to take a summer program in Oxford England. She then went back to love of Real Estate and joined Beverly-Hanks as a full time professional. Nancy's interest in education extends to continually taking classes to improve her ability to provide the best knowledge and service to her clients. She received designations as an Accredited Buyer Representative, Certified New Home Specialist, Feng-Shui Staging Professional, and several technology related specialties. She is the first to admit though, technology is testing her sense of humor.

Asheville is a great place to live. Nancy raised her four children in the area, and they say some of their favorite memories are of camping, skiing, sliding down waterfalls, and hiking in the local mountains. Nancy believes in giving back to her community. She has volunteered with her children's schools, helped build a house through Habitat for Humanity, and participated in activities with United Way. She now focuses her volunteer activities with Hospice. These experiences reinforce her feeling that it's the people who make Asheville wonderful.
