Katherine Kaderabek is a bright spark who hales from a true Southern background—the quintessentially Southern city of Charleston, South Carolina. She graduated from the University of the South (Sewanee) in 1988 and continues to make spirited use of that liberal arts education. As a precocious child, she spent many summers in Asheville where she learned to treasure the beauty of the mountains and this vibrant community.

For many years now Asheville has been home to Katherine and her husband Todd, their children Thames and Miller, their lovable mastiff Gracie and a cat named Katie. Katherine feels entirely at home here in the North Carolina Mountains (despite the lack of beaches), and she’ll make sure that you feel the very same way about this special place.

And what do Katherine’s clients think about her?

Outside of her career, Katherine maintains a strong commitment to her community. She serves on the Vestry of Grace Episcopal Church and volunteers with Room in the Inn, a mobile shelter for homeless women in Asheville. Each fall she organizes a community pumpkin camp to raise money to build a hospital for malnourished children in Haiti. And she is a past member of the Junior League of Asheville and delights in being a room mother (extraordinaire) at her children’s’ school.

When she’s not assisting buyers or sellers, Katherine enjoys relaxing with her family and gardening, reading, cooking and hiking in the mountains.
