CAROLYN COLVARD
for
“Your Time. And Your Lifestyle”
As a native of Western North Carolina, Carolyn benefits her real estate clients with her unending knowledge of living, working, schooling, retiring, or playing in this special part of the world. Add her area knowledge to her years of experience in real estate and you have the perfect triage of the necessary components to guide her customers and clients to a successful real estate transaction.
Carolyn’s skills cover all spectrums of life’s changes; from first homes to the elite, from the young making a move up or the mature client ready to downsize. A self described energetic, strong and independent woman; she doesn’t sit around and hope things happen, Carolyn makes things happen. (For you.)
Before entering her subsequent highly successful real estate career Carolyn honed her customer service skills in the airline industry. She learned sharply defined problem solving and negotiating skills. One real estate client says it like this: “ I love my home in North Asheville! You seem to know how to match the personality of the person to the home, which saved endless hours of searching. Thank you for making this a memorable experience.”
(P. Naseda)
20 Years in the airline industry also gave her invaluable experiences in all parts of the world including Europe and South America. Other than the obvious pleasures of traveling, Carolyn says the real benefit of travel was the interaction and understanding of many cultures that gave her a different window on the world and broadened her view of the world and its people.
As any mother would be, Carolyn is most proud of raising her daughter, seeing her off to college to become a lawyer, and then embracing her return to the mountains to practice real estate law.
Not necessarily an “organized club” kind of person Carolyn, non- the - less unobtrusively donates hours of her time giving of herself to others. She pioneered a nationally recognized In Home Aide program for senior citizens in need of assistance and she works with battered women’s shelters and supports Goodwill. Many in need, know they have a friend in Carolyn.
D & W Sherriell of Asheville sum it up best. They say:
“Carolyn, we would like to thank you for your dedication and the attention you gave to selling our home. We had some interesting challenges in our property and we realized from the onset that it would take creative marketing and perhaps a little ‘magic’ to make it all happen. We think you had both.”
