Judd Richardson, CRB has been the Managing Broker of the Hendersonville Office since the spring of 1994. His career in real estate began in Eastern North Carolina in the mid-70”s where he first began in sales and then a couple of years later moved into management position with an independent firm which later became a franchise firm. He has owned and managed in North Carolina and the Low Country of South Carolina.
He has achieved numerous awards while managing in two real estate franchise systems over the years. He was the president of the National Brokers Council for a major franchise system in the early 90’s. Judd has served in many capacities with local real estate boards and state boards including Past President (1986) of the Beaufort County Board of Realtors, Beaufort, South Carolina and Past President twice (2000 &2007) of the Hendersonville Board of Realtors. He has also served in several officer and committee positions during his career in five real estate boards. Judd is currently serving on North Carolina Association of Realtors Forms Committee in 2009-2010.
Judd is a native of North Carolina and a graduate of High Point University here in North Carolina. Judd served in the United States Marine Corps as a Naval Flight Officer in F-4 Phantom Jets. Judd has been involved with a number of service organizations over the years including serving as President of Beaufort Kiwanis Club of Beaufort, SC and other leadership positions with Lions Club and Civitans. Judd is currently serving on the Board of Directors of the Hendersonville Rotary Club.
Judd is married to his wife Carolyn for over 40 years and they have a married daughter and granddaughter living in Raleigh, N.C. They have resided in Western North Carolina for almost 20 years.
